Both babies would wake themselves up flailing their arms whenever we put them down to sleep in a bassinet or crib (basically, anything that wasn't moving or vibrating). These are the only blankets they can't break out of, and they sleep so peacefully in them (and for longer stretches - yay!). The blankets are very soft and well made; we passed our son's Miracle Blankets on to friends who passed them on to friends... We had to buy new ones for our daughter. They seem to be even softer than I remember now, not sure if they changed them over the last 4 years. This color is very pretty, we also have two others. I would recommend getting two or three so you always have one if the others are in the laundry. These are our go-to gift for any friend having a baby!
